NORTHWEST PREBYTERIAN CHURCH

Northwest Presbyterian was established approximately 50 years ago. It has a rich history of worship and ministry. Historically the church has had a great love for the poor and been very involved with a food pantry, thrift store and has sponsored a Cold Night Shelterfor the homeless when the temperature is below 40 degrees. It has been led by godly pastors and has been very committed to the study of Scripture, spiritual growth and Christian service.

Northwest Presbyterian Church is both a church with a rich history and at the same time is a new church start. We like to say that Northwest is for people with a Pioneer Spirit because so many things are new. Many new people have joined us and today we are working hard at uniting the old and the new. We have started a new Contemporary WorshipService with guitars and drums which has been a brand new adventure. We have started many new Bible studies, as well new groups ministering to people. We have a co-Dependent group, a group for developing a healthy family life, as well as an Al-Anon program. We have added 3 new youth leaders to minister to all of our children, and we have a new organist/choir director who is adding greatly to our Sunday worship. Thursday is our big mid-week family night which we call Totally Excellent Thursday. With Choir rehearsal and Praise Team rehearsal, programs for children from 1 week old through high school and a combination of programs for adults for either everyday christian living or bible study.
