Northwest Church

Northwest Presbyterian was established approximately 50 years ago. It has a rich history of worship and ministry. Historically the church has had a great love for the poor and been very involved with a food pantry, thrift store and has sponsored a Cold Night Shelter for the homeless when the temperature is cold for years. It has had been led by godly pastors and has been very committed to the study of Scripture, spiritual growth and Christian service.

Northwest Presbyterian Church is both a church with a rich history and at the same time is a new church start. We like to say that Northwest is for people with a Pioneer Spirit because so many things are new. Many new people have joined us and today we are working hard at uniting the old and the new. We have started a new Contemporary Worship Service with guitars and drums which has been a brand new adventure. We have started many new Bible studies, as well new groups ministering to people who have been wounded by abuse, and an active AA group. We have also started a new Saturday evening worship on the 4th Saturday of every month called "Testimony and Transformation". We also have a Thursday Night Family Night for all ages which we call “ Totally Excellent Thursday .”
