Youth Club

At Northwest Presbyterian church, our junior high and high school students are very important to us.
Every Thursday night after a 6:00 dinner they meet from 6:30-8:00pm. Half of the time is spent in Bible study, and the other half is spent on personal issues that youth face in our world today.
Every Sunday at 11:00am there are Bible classes for both Junior high and High school. Also, after sunday school at 12:00pm the Youth Praise Team meets to rehearse, after having lunch together.
The youth meets on many Saturdays, for a combination of Bible study, fundraisers for their yearly mission trip, service projects and just plain fun.

Every week is different. We have gone for many hikes to Little Manatee State Park, Sawgrass and Boyd Hill parks as well as playing games at the church. Other times we volunteer at St. Vincent DePaul or Beth-El which is a ministry sponsored by the Presbyterian Church to migrant farmworkers. Our big project now is our Pumpkin Patch, which is cooperation between the youth and the church. The profits will go to to their summer mission trip.
